The project started July 27th, 2015, the day marriage equality became a reality in the United States. It was such a euphoric feeling and I wanted to celebrate all of the amazing couples whose marriages would now be recognized. Then it snowballed from there...

In the last few months I've photographed and interviewed over 40 couples. In doing so I hope to honor and create visibility for the amazing LGBTQ couples who want to be married.

My dream?

I want to create an archive where people can come to see people like and unlike themselves, a place where they can hear experiences and  develop an empathic connection. I want the young kid from a small town in middle America to feel less alone, less isolated, and less afraid.

Thank you for visiting. If you'd like to be updated as the project unfolds you can do so below.
